Privacy Policy — BizTrade

BizTrade (“we,” “us,” “our”) builds and manages websites and marketing tools for local businesses. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using BizTrade at biztrade.io (the “Service”), you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account & business information you provide: name, email, phone, business name, address, and website content.
Payment information processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers.
Usage & site analytics collected by our own cookieless pixel on the sites we host (page views, referrers, and lead events), used to show you your traffic and results.
Data from services you connect, such as Google (described below).

Google user data

If you choose to connect your Google account, BizTrade requests access only to the data needed to provide features you enable, and only with your consent:

Google Analytics (read-only): to display your website’s analytics inside your BizTrade dashboard.
Google Search Console (read-only): to show your search rankings, clicks, and impressions.
Google Business Profile (manage): to let you publish posts and reply to reviews from your dashboard, at your direction.

We access this data solely to provide and improve these user-facing features. You can disconnect your Google account at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access.

Limited Use disclosure

BizTrade’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not:

use Google user data for advertising;
sell Google user data;
transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the features you use, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition; and
allow humans to read Google user data unless you explicitly consent, it is necessary for security or to comply with law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.

How we use information

To create, host, and operate your website and dashboard.
To provide analytics, SEO, review, and marketing features you enable.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To send transactional emails (e.g., welcome, receipts, notifications).
To secure, maintain, and improve the Service.

Service providers

We share information only with providers that help us run the Service, under contract: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database/hosting), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (transactional email), and Google (APIs you connect). We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention & security

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. Connected-service tokens are encrypted at rest. We use industry-standard safeguards, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices & rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data, and disconnect connected services, from your dashboard or by contacting us. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.
